All I can say is that I love this reel. It's smooth, lightweight, and
reliable. I've had experience with each reel in the Spinmatic
series (S,X, & T), and I have to say that the Z is really worth the
extra $20 bucks. You can feel the difference in how smooth this
reel runs on its 5 ball bearings. The twistbuster feature works
reasonably well and the reel casts effortlessly. It's a perfect
match for that 5'6" ultralight. I have mine matched up with a
custom wrapped 5'6" Kencor rated for 2-6# and have used it for
everything from tossing lures in Mammoth to throwing
swimbaits at Cherry...that's right, I've used this combo to catch
legal butts from shore and this reel worked flawlessly and holds
up in harsh sand and saltwater conditions.
