The Facts: The Accurate Platinum Twindrag reel is a two speed reel designed for hardcore fishing. The dry AccuDrag system utilizes two titanium friction washers, at both ends of the spool, applying an equal amount of pressure from both sides. This drag mechanism reduces heat buildup and allows precise drag settings. The frame and spool are machined from solid bar-stock 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and the 7 teflon coated class 5 ABEC stainless steel bearings keep things extra smooth.

This reel was bought to tangle with extremely large yellowfin tuna. So far I have not been on a long range trip so I can't really tell you about how it performs on the big boys. I can tell you it performs great on 30-40 albacore. It is a little overkill for this but so far its the only thing I've had pull on the reel.
It has a great freespool and can put out a ton of drag. The power handle is awesome and is the most comfortable stock handle I have ever used. The reel is one of the top big game reels out there in my opinion. If you have the cash then I would highly recommend this reel.
