better than the Regal X but not better than the new Daiwas, 2005-03-07
Reviewer: Bassin Kid
This is an older model by Daiwa. I've had both the Regal X and the Regal Z for many years. I liked the Regal X and it was getting old. So I spent some more cash for the Regal Z. The Z model is sturdier and smoother IMO. It has nice Daiwa drags. It was worth the upgrade from the X at the time. But now I would go with the new hardbodyz reels like the Laguna or Capricorn. They have more advanced technologies and stronger frames.
