The Facts: The Shimano Sustain spinning reel features 6 A-RB corrosion resistant ball bearings; a polished Fluiddrive master gear; the Super Stopper II roller bearing; and a super-slow oscillation for improved line lay and castability. Each reel also has a forged aluminum spool with titanium lip, and a water proof drag system.

I have used a shimano sustain 6000 for 8yrs, it has thousands of cast's on it fishing for snook and reds, it finally broke i sent it to shimano for repair it came back ready for another 8.

Just purchased and used Shimano Sustain 2500. It is the best purchase that I have ever made. With its smooth drag and castability, it is worth every penny. This is it for me!
