The Facts: The Tica Libra SA spinning reel features an unique worm shaft system, which is precision-cut with a specially designed cutting machine; a strong anti-reverse mechanism; 10-piece, precision ball bearings and mini-bearing inside the line roller; and Tica's balanced, anti-twist rotor to minimize vibration. The aluminum alloy spool is cut by a CNC machine to exacting specifications, and it is decorated with 24 wave motion-type conk holes. These reels have a titanium-plated, stainless steel spool lip and titanium-plated, anti-twist line roller. They also have a coiled bail spring and a high-tensile strength plastic body. The 3500 and 4000 series reels also have a power drive gear for better strength and superior smoothness.
