Best 2 Piece Light Rod I Have Owned, 2010-06-02
Reviewer: Mike
I currently don't have a truck and getting rods in and out of my 2 door coupe is a a real pain in the butt. Since I work near a lot of lakes, beaches, etc, It is important that I keep a rod in the car at all times just in case I see an opportunity.
I have the 2 piece compre that fits in my car nicely. I paired it up with a Shimano Stradic 2500 and 10lb braid.
I have caught bass to 5lbs, sailfish to 50lbs, kinfish to 20lbs, tarpon to 40lbs, snook to 15lbs, and a few other misc species on this rod. While it is not ideal for the bigger fish I mentioned, I like to use it when the bite is non existent to entice a fish.
