Prodigy spinning reel, 2006-10-16

I have used this reel for two seasons, fished a couple of times a week, and it has worked really well for me. I have it paired with Cabela's XML spinning rod (664-2). A nice setup for small and largemouth bass. Reel is smooth and casts nicely. I haven't had the knuckle issue noted by an other reviewer.
No mechanical issues. My only quibble is that the screw holding the handle on works loose from time to time. Usually after a fight with a larger fish :)!

Very nice reel and smooth retrieve and casting. I paired this reel with the hmx rod and it a very nice combo. Sensitive and smooth with all the backbone you need. One consideration is if you like more than two fingers ahead of the attachment stem your knuckles can get in the way of the bail. Seems it is very durable and tight tolerences in the manufacture. I'd buy it again.
